Top Tips for Organized School Life

We all have the same amount of hours in the day but why do some people seem to achieve much more than others.  Simply  running a house and juggling children takes skill and the more organised you are, the easier it will seem.

Everyone in the house should know where things go and what is expected. Try some of our simple yet effective ideas for a more organised life.

There are just some simple ideas to get you started on being more organised around the home.   Should you have any ideas that your think our readers would benefit from, please email us via the contact page.  For every tip displayed on the web site, w will send you a a pack of ultimate family organiser calendar stickers.

School Homework Box
Keep a box of essential things in the event your child leaves something at school which may result in them not being able complete any homework.

Things to include in your box:  small scissors, glue stick, eraser, pencil sharpener, rulers, colouring in pencils etc. Ideally when buying school supplies for them just purchase an additional set for home, this way colouring pencils will be the same  and no coloru variations between brands.  Mini self adhesive personalised name stickers are ideal for naming small items, such as pens, pencils etc.  Remeber to labels each set and why not peronalise the home set with a label say "home".

Keep a supply of ink cartridges, writing pencils in the event that children misplace them and need a replacement for the f ollowing day.  Remember to stock up when getting low.

Present Box
Keep a ready supply of suitable presents for children with a mix mixute of male and femal presents - the high street stores have sales during the year and this ia great time to stock up.

For older children, a supply of  vouchers from high street store make a great present and suitable for all ages.

Have a designated place to keep wrapping paper, sticky tape and birthday cards and have a small supply in stock.  Try our self adhesive gift labels instead of birthday cards.  These can be stuck directly onto the present avoiding the card present becoming seperated.  A much cheaper and practical solution to expensive birthday cards.

Sport/Kit Bags Bags
Lets be honest, sports smell,  try placing a couple of sheets of the tumble dryer fabric sheets  directly into the bag and replace these every other week.  it won't totally remove bad odours and but does help to reduced them.

Gum Shields
Purchase the gum shield with  the hook at the top of the case and thread an old shoelace through this and the other end loop around the shoe/boot bag.  Children will always know there the gum shield is.  Even if you buy the dentist gum shields that comewith the hook case,  it worth spending a few pounds on the less expensive shields as a stand by.

School Paperwork/Party Invities
Have a place where children leave these every day.  Make it a routine to deal with any party invitations or school correspondence each day.  This way it will only take a few minutes.  Once you have accepted the invite

School Bags
Have a designated place that these are placed every day.
